Hit – Starring Dustin Hoffman, Lily Tomlin, Mark Wahlberg, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Naomi Watts
A conflict over control of an Open Spaces Conservation Organization that battles Urban Sprawl, creates a rivalry between Albert Markovski (Jason Schwartzman) and Brad Strand (Jude Law). This conflict is intercepted by Vivian (Lily Tomlin) and Bernard (Dustin Hoffman), two existential detectives. Vivian and Bernard attempt to solve a coincidence and create harmony in the life of those who are suffering.
I Heart Huckabees is a bizarre film from start to finish. Jason Schwartzman’s acting is heavily overshadowed by the acting of Mark Wahlberg, but don’t take my word for it, see it for yourself. Tomlin and Hoffman are a great duo. Bottom Line: If you enjoyed films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation, or Being John Malkovich, you will enjoy this film.
Best Scene: *Pictured below* When Tommy Corn (Mark Wahlberg) begins his rant about “petroleum problems” and Brad interjects, “I drive a BMV SUV and I love it!”
Rated R for language and a tasteless sex scene
