***Possible Spoiler Alert***

After researching on tv.com (originally named tvtome) I have found that Locke’s father (the one who conned Locke into giving him a kidney) is indeed the man that Sawyer is looking for. In an upcoming episode titled “Admissions” (to be aired on February 1st, 2006), Kevin Tighe (the actor who plays Locke’s father “Cooper”) is billed as “Anthony Cooper/Frank Sawyer.” This once again proves my theory I created on November 23, 2005 that if Locke’s father is the man that Sawyer is looking for it would be awesome. Then Sawyer could have his revenge and it would also benefit Locke in the process. Brilliance!

Hit – Starring Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Tilda Swinton, James McAvoy, Liam Neeson

Based on the classic novel series by C.S. Lewis this story follows the adventures of four children who are sent to live with a professor during World War II. While playing games in the professor’s home, a magic wardrobe is discovered. This wardrobe is a porthole to the mysterious land called Narnia. Narnia is ruled by the evil white witch. In order to defeat the white witch, the children must join forces with Aslan (the lion God of Narnia) to overcome evil.

Ever since I read this story I thought it would transfer very well to the big screen. The first time I saw it on-screen was the animated version, which I thought was well done. Now, the story is brought to life even better than ever. The story is beautifully told through both dialogue and scenery. I particularly enjoyed all the implied biblical imagery.

Although this movie is rated PG, I felt that it was very violent and scary for younger children. A PG-13 rating would be more appropriate, but since there is no blood and no bad language, it maintains its rating of PG. That being said, your younger children will be frightened by more than just talking wolves.

I am very interested to see if all seven novels will be brought to the big screen. I look forward to seeing the other films as I have not read the other books. This movie is one of the best of the year.

Best Scene: Aslan returns.

Fantasy

Rated PG for battle sequences and frightening moments.

Running Time: 2 hours 20 minutes.
