Hit (conditionally) – Starring Alyson Hannigan, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge

Date Movie is a spoof on all romantic comedies (at least it comes close to hitting the most mainstream romantic comedies). It is the story of a woman (Hannigan), her crush (Campbell), and their families.

This movie provides constant laughs, mostly because it is dumb humor. Date Movie parodies so many movies that sometimes it is hard to understand the point of the basic plot line. Although it is nothing hilariously spectacular, I find this movie to be mildly entertaining. Luckily I did not have to pay for this film ~ which sometimes makes the movie experience much better. Bottom Line: A screwball comedy with home entertainment approval.
