Hit (but not for everyone)- Starring Will Ferrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Thompson, Queen Latifah, Dustin Hoffman
It was a normal day in Harold Crick’s (Ferrell) life until it a narrator starts to tell his life story as it happens. If only other people could hear the narration, then Harold would stop believing he is insane. Harold decides to seek help when the narration that begins to affect his entire life. This narration continues from his work, to his love-interest, and ultimately to his death?
This movie was an enjoying breath of fresh air. It will not please all audience members as its plot is abstractly configured which may or may not suit your fancy. I found this movie to be original and delightful.

Miss - Starring Sasha Baron Cohen, Ken Davitian
, Luenell
Kazakhstani Television reporter, Borat (Cohen), is off to shoot a documentary about the United States culture. While in the United States, Borat becomes more obsessed with finding and marrying Pamela Anderson.
I may be one of the only people you know that didn’t like this movie. I will admit that there were funny parts throughout the film, but having seen the movie almost a week ago, I can’t really remember what was funny about it. What I do know is this movie has no plot, and is better suited for Da Ali G show rather than a full length feature film.
There are times where Borat’s jokes go above and beyond what is socially acceptable to make these scenes downright offensive.
I don’t know why everyone thinks that Sasha Baron Cohen is a comical genius. I find Da Ali G show to be much more interesting and comical compared to this film. Bottom Line: I am sure you will see this regardless of what I have to say, but I don’t recommend viewing it at the movie theatres. There are too many uncomfortable moments.
Comedy
Rated R for pervasive strong crude and sexual content including graphic nudity, and language.
