Obligitory Review Sauce:
This summers live action adaptation of my childhood favorite, The Transformers, features GM Autobots GMC TopKick (Ironhide), Chevy Camaro concept car (Bumblebee), Pontiac Solstice (Jazz) and GMC Hummer (Ratchet). Don’t let this shameless corporate promotion fool you, this movie will significantly drain your summer movie adrenaline quota. I took my wife to see the film; the humor and solid performances by most of the cast kept her laughing and engaged through the films 2.5 hours.

The sweet robots, arse kicking battle sequences and a story line who’s characterization of the Transformers and extension of their lore, remained quite true to the animated series, while at the same time did not feel forced (like Star Wars Episode 2) or unbelievable in a live action setting, makes this one a keeper.
Basically it f*&^ing rocks, don’t waste anytime, go and see this movie. I give it a 100%.
