Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
by Miss Movies
Hit - Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupret Grint, Emma Watson, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman
While studying potions in his 6th year at Hogwarts, Harry discovers an old potions textbook previously used by, “the Half-Blood Prince.” During this year, Harry also learns more about Lord Voldemort’s beginnings.
After Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I felt that the Harry Potter series was going in a direction that was more dark and slightly disturbing that it was starting to lose its flavor. This film was a breath of fresh air and I felt it brought us back to the same level of direction and interest as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I have enjoyed most of the Harry Potter films, Prisoner of Azkaban was the last Harry Potter film that I remember in its entirety. This film easily rivals Azkaban as its story holds the interest of the audience throughout and doesn’t let up. There are not many new characters being introduced to us in this film so we can focus on the main story rather than how the new character fits into the world of Harry Potter.
Bottom Line: A not-to-be-missed Harry Potter film.

Fantasy
Rated PG for scary images, some violence, language and mild sensuality.
Running Time: 2 hours 23 minutes.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
by Miss Movies
Miss - Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox
After Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) learns about the ancient origins of the Transformers, the Decepticons return to Earth to take him prisoner and take control of the Earth. In order to protect the human race, Optimus Prime joins forces with international armies to take down the Decepticons.
Why? Why? Why? Why? I know that I can answer this question myself and the answer is: Money. Money. Money. Money. This film is so money driven that it is disgusting. The biggest flaw of this film is the (what seems like) hour long fighting between the Decepticons and Autobots towards the end of the film. I don’t really care to see such a long action sequence between these characters. In fact, I wish there was more story and development of the two main characters. However, I don’t think this would make the movie any better, it would only make the movie slightly more interesting.
Bottom Line: I have become tired of money driven movies. Or, at the very least, I am tired of money driven sequels. Save your money and wait for it to come to T.V.
Action
Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material.
Running Time: 2 hours 20 minutes.
